President Шавкат Мирзиёев - Shavkat Mirziyoyev inked a decree on improving Uzbekistan’s positions in International ratings
In 2017-2020 Uzbekistan has reached 52 positions in the Heritage Fund’s Index of Economic Freedom, 19 positions on World Bank’s Logistics Performance Index & 18 positions on the Index of Doing Business as well as has risen to the 5th group of countries according to the OECD’s Country Risk Classification.

Key facts:
1. Republican Council for Work with International Ratings & Indices to be created.
2. Improvement of the Uzbekistan’s positions in international ratings to be defined as main criteria for assessing the effectiveness of gov’t bodies’ high officials.
3. KPI for international ratings & indices that are priority for Uzbekistan to be implemented.
4. By October 1, 2020 Ministry of Finance has been tasked to launch the online-available Unified Portal “Uzbekistan in International Ratings”.
