The Uzbekistan Embassy in London is very delighted to invite British companies to participate in the implementation of investment projects on processing municipal solid waste.

In Uzbekistan 10M tons municipal solid waste are annually generated, of which only 10% is recycled, and the rest goes to landfills. To resolve this issue, the Government of Uzbekistan has worked out a National Strategy for Solid Waste Management for the period 2019-2028. The Strategy envisages the implementation of investment projects in the solid waste management, including jointly with local businesses and foreign investors.
