Regional cooperation between Uzbekistan and United Kingdom discussed

On May 11, 2020 the potential and new opportunities for British business in Kashkadaraya were discussed between London Southside Chamber of Commerce and the local government in Kashkadaraya region.

During the webinar, British side was informed about trade, investment and agricultural potential of Kashkadaraya region, business opportunities created in the “Chiraqchi” Special Economic Zone. The possibilities of exporting fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan to the UK also were among topics highlighted.

In addition, it was agreed to consider establishing cooperation with Karshi University in communications.
